After my recent track day at Nelson Ledges it become quite apparent that my 2-ton Audi was going to need some better brakes. In this installment of my blog I talk more about my car and explain the decisions made on upgrading the brake components on my 2013 Audi Allroad.
On July 26, 2014 there was a “fun day” track event at the *new* Nelson Ledges Race Complex. Here is my account of the fun that unfolded, and some videos of my sessions. Enjoy!
Someone older and wiser than me once told me that a true car enthusiasts is never done. Be it your daily driver or your project car it just doesn’t matter, there is always something else lurking around the corner you’ll want to do. With that said, here is the current state of affairs on my still relatively new-to-me 2013 Audi Allroad.

Gear heads love to “bench race” — this is where you sit around with your buddies talking about whose car is faster and why. In the end the true test of power is to take your sheet metal and throw it down the drag strip, or strap it onto the dyno. Though my plans with my S6 have never been bragging rights, I still wanted to know just what she could do. And to find out just that I spent this morning at an event that provided me a grin from ear-to-ear!
