In this battle my two current favorite devices go toe-to-toe as we compare the Fitbit Charge versus Garmin Vivofit 2.
Garmin’s Vivofit and Vivosmart devices have been some of the top sellers for the last year, and garner some of the highest hits drawn to my site. They are great devices and remain some of my top suggested buys, especially with the new Vivofit 2 that just came out. Yesterday Fitbit announced their new lineup up of fitness/activity trackers for the 2014/2015 calendar year. These three new devices, the Fitbit Charge, Fitbit Charge HR, and Fitbit Surge, are the culmination of the last year or more of development by the Fitbit team. Here is a quick preview and some of my thoughts on these devices.
People keep asking me what I think about the new Garmin Vivosmart. Now that they’ve had a chance to work out most of the bugs with some firmware updates, it was finally time for me to test it against my two favorite fitness/activity trackers, the Misfit Shine and Fitbit Flex.
