BATTLE! – Jawbone UP Move vs Misfit Flash vs Fitbit Zip – The $50 Shoot-out

Another day closer to Black Friday, and another batch of new fitness tracking activity monitors have been announced.  This time the new group of hot trackers comes from Jawbone with two new devices, the Jawbone UP3 and UP Move, both slated to release before holiday shopping begins.  For this review we’ll be focusing on entry-level UP Move they just announced, taking it toe-to-toe with two existing tough competitors.  Read more as we compare the Jawbone UP Move versus Misfit Flash versus Fitbit Zip as three devices that all retail under $50.

Flyfit, Moov, SmartMove, and more! – Prepare your ankles for fitness in 2014

Move over Lindsay Lohan, because the rest of us are anxious to show off our ankles too.  No, we’re not all destined for house-arrest.  It will be in the name of health that will drive us all to bare our talus-bone and flaunt our new fitness wearables.  Many companies are getting ready to hit the market this year or next, with products that will target anywhere from your shin to your shoe.  But are consumers ready to swap out their wrist wearables?

BATTLE! – Fitbit Force vs Polar Loop

New gadgets typically arrive just in time for  holiday season shoppers.  This benefited me nicely during my recent purchase of the Fitbit Force, which came to market around the same time as the  JAWBONE UP24.  While those two companies have had wristband activity trackers for some time, there is a new guy in town who wants a piece of the action.  Say hello to the Polar Loop Activity Tracker.  Let’s put it into BATTLE with my Fitbit Force and see how it does!
